The fish are feeding hard at Blagdon with the lake coming to life in recent weeks. Hard on corixa some fantastic top of the water sport is being provided for anglers venturing out. key spots include, Holt Bay, Wood bay and the dam basin.

"What a day on Blagdon Lake today for my guest Trevor Ball and myself. Started on Washing Line tactics and Trevor had his first ever Blagdon trout - a cracking 4:08 rainbow. And it was also his first time boat fishing! We had 5 by lunchtime, then switched to dries and went to the Top End - catching a further 11 rainbows - the best weighing 6:00 on a Claret Bits. Moving around the lake into Holt Bay we had more fish to 4:08 - all on dries. Blagdon Lake is absolutely on fire - from the Dam to Wood Bay. "
